Join young professionals for boil

Three years ago the Natchez Young Professionals were started out of an effort by the Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce to help facilitate networking and camaraderie among the growing number of young professionals who call Natchez home.
Through the efforts of many, this organization has grown to more than 100 members who meet monthly and increasingly are becoming more involved in the community in which they reside. The group hopes to serve as an organization that brings together a wide range of young professionals together ranging from educators to business people.
It is the hope of the Natchez Young Professionals that through our efforts we can both promote Natchez as well as recruit other young professionals to our area. We are very excited about the growing number of young professionals who call Natchez home, and we are looking forward to great successes that will come from these young men and women.
This year we will host the third annual Boiling on the Bluff crawfish boil from 5 to 8 p.m. today, on the bluff in front of Bowies Tavern.
We would like to invite all of Natchez out for food, music and fellowship. The entertainment will be provided by Moncla Cajun Band. Tickets include all you can eat crawfish and all you can drink for $25 each.
You can buy tickets at the door or in advance.
Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office on Main Street as well as at the gate.
This event is not just for Young Professionals, so we encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a good time and great crawfish!
Scott McLemore is chairman of the Natchez Young Professionals.
