Celebrate animals in style Saturday

The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society cordially invites you to attend an Animal Affair Picnic at The Gardens, home of Dr. and Mrs. Fred Emrick, from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The Gardens is located at 35 Cemetery Road in Natchez. Dress for the evening is casual.
For a donation of $25 per person at the door, you can enjoy an evening filled with your favorite picnic foods including hamburgers, hotdogs, fried chicken, ham and pimento cheese, a variety of salads, tomato tarts, fresh fruit and a spread of the best desserts around. A cash bar will also be available.
Those in attendance are encouraged to check out the silent auction items while you enjoy the party. If you are willing to donate an auction item for this event, please e-mail me at susmingee@att.net or call 601-442-8775 and leave a message.
Our special thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Emrick and their dog, Sugar, for hosting this annual spring event in their beautiful, historic home. This event serves as a critical fundraiser for the operations fund of the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.
Now more than ever, the animals need the full support of our community. Our operating funds are at an all-time low, while the number of animals we must care for continues to grow. All donations to the NACHS will be appreciated and are tax deductible. We thank our faithful supporters for your continued help, and we hope to see you Saturday. If you are unable to attend, donations can be mailed to NACHS P.O. Box 549 Natchez, MS 39121.
