Dispute ends with shots

NATCHEZ — Three men were booked at Adams County Sheriff’s Office Thursday and Friday in connection with shots fired inside and outside the city limits at a single person.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office said a dispute first broke out between Justin King and Lawrence Green on Itasca Drive.
The situation moved into the county at a deli near Steam Plant and Martin Luther King Jr. Road, where Green allegedly shot at King.
King’s car was hit with two bullets.
Green, 19, 1116 Martin Luther King Jr. St., was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated assault and given a bond of $5,000.
Two other men, who were reportedly with Green during the incident, were charged with accessory to aggravated assault and released on $5,000 bonds.
Demetric Vashon McKnight, 19, 4-B E. Oak St., was arrested on Friday, and Alonzo Petroion Green, 28, 2737 Itasca Drive, was arrested Thursday.
Mayfield said the disputes reportedly involved an ongoing court case.
Maj. Ricky Stevens said two other men may be charged with accessory to aggravated assault, as well.
