The Natchez Trace Kiwanis Club invites you to our annual pancake breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. this Thursday at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church.
For just $5 per plate, you will receive piping hot pancakes and sausage from some of our very own chefs. Coffee, milk and orange juice are also included. Dine in and enjoy fellowship and great conversation; or if you are in a hurry, we provide carry-out orders. Delivery service is also available this year with an order of 10 plates at the same location.
This event would be a great opportunity to show your appreciation to your employees for their dedication and hard work!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our organization promotes and mentors all Natchez area high school Key Clubs, works with the Natchez Children’s Home Services, Pleasant Acre Day School, Kyle’s House, the Boys and Girls Club and the Sunshine Shelter to name a few. We not only donate our time to assist with service projects but we also donate financially to these organizations each year.
The Natchez Trace Kiwanis Club also provides scholarships for eligible Key Club seniors. Each year our club awards approximately $3,500 in scholarships to these distinguished seniors.
Globally, Kiwanis International’s current campaign for children, The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal/neonatal tetanus, aims to raise $110 million and save the lives of 129 million mothers and their future babies. In partnership with UNICEF, Kiwanis is committing by 2015 to eliminating maternal/neonatal tetanus, a disease that kills one baby every nine minutes.
Please come and join us this Thursday to enjoy the best $5 pancake breakfast around and help the children of our community at the same time.
If you would like to purchase tickets for our pancake breakfast, please contact Stuart Heflin at 601-442-9138 or Wanda Frye 601-431-2861 or any Kiwanis Club member.
Stuart Heflin serves as the president of the Natchez Trace Kiwanis Club.
