Sheriff’s rodeo is great family event

Thanks to Sheriff Chuck Mayfield and his staff, the rodeo will be revived a 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
This is a family event. The smallest child and the oldest senior citizen can attend the rodeo, have a lot of good, clean family fun and feel totally safe.
Sheriff Mayfield and many law enforcement officers will be present to assist you, interact with you and assure your safety.
For many of the years that I was with the sheriff’s office, under the direction of Sheriff Tommy Ferrell, the rodeo was conducted for the pleasure of our citizens.
Sheriff Mayfield was deeply involved in the rodeo at this time.
Once again, we have a sheriff that realizes the importance of crime control and understands the importance of family recreation.
I believe Sheriff Mayfield being unopposed in the sheriff’s election implies the citizens of Natchez and Adams County realize we have a sheriff for all the people.
So, come on out to The Wayne Johnson arena located at 200 Foster Mound Road (off Morgantown Road) and let’s have a “standing room only” crowd.
