NATCHEZ — A man who was already in the custody of the Adams County Sheriff Office was charged Friday with enticement of a child to meet for sexual purposes.

Kenneth S. Carter, 50, 110 Barth St., received no bond for the additional charge.

The incident allegedly occurred Thursday outside an apartment complex on 576 Lower Woodville Road.

Carter reportedly approached a 17-year-old boy in the parking lot and propositioned him for sex, Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said.

Carter was arrested outside the complex that day for public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia.
