Thank you to Patrick’s helpers

On March 17 it was my privilege to lead the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade down Main Street.
Many people and organizations contributed to a successful day of activities.
To the former St. Patricks who elected me St. Patrick XXI, I offer a sincere thank you.
To the outgoing Krewe Kaptain Kelly Ditzler, I say thank you for showing me the ropes.
Incoming Krewe Kaptain Ricky Warren was there to pitch in wherever we needed him. Rosco did a fantastic job as auctioneer at the St. Patrick party given by St. Patrick XX, Peter Burns.
All proceeds of the auction go to area youth. Thanks to everyone who responded to our appeal for a bagpiper with names of out-of-town contacts, and thanks to piper Jim Goode for doing such a good job along with our own Terry Trovato, the drummer.
The Natchez Democrat and radio station WQNZ did a great job of publicizing and covering the parade.
Finally, thank you to all the participants who made the parade such a success, and thank you to the Krewe of Killarney for caring so deeply about our area youth.
