NATCHEZ — Finding the Sunday school chairs out of order was the first clue the First Assembly of God had been burglarized.
The break-in allegedly occurred sometime between when the secretary left the church at night and when she arrived at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
The church’s Youth Pastor Grant Westbrook filed a report with the Natchez Police Department stating someone had sneaked though a window without breaking it but had stolen some items inside the building.
The report filed Sunday morning stated the items discovered missing included a drill and tool bag that was stored in a filing cabinet in the pastor’s room and an iPod touch from the sanctuary.
