NATCHEZ — The Adams County Metro Narcotics Unit arrested a man and woman accused of selling OxyContin out of a car in the Dairy Queen parking lot Monday.
Dustin Wayne Evans, 26, 1103 Pecan St., and Tiffany Cain, 31, of the same address, were arrested on charges of selling a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Metro Narcotics Commander David Lindsey said the suspects sold approximately $500 of OxyContin pills to a confidential informant of the narcotics unit.
Evans and Cain allegedly carried an additional $1,500 worth of the prescription pain pills with them, Lindsey said.
Lindsey said the sale took place around 7 p.m. inside a green Geo Prizm sedan on John R. Junkin Road.
