NATCHEZ — The Natchez Preservation Commission voted unanimously Wednesday evening to approve roof repair and demolition requests for two separate residences.
Butch Johnson submitted applications for roof repairs at 711 N. Pearl St., and for demolition of an existing garage at 601 Washington St. A new garage will be built at that location.
In addition to the demolition, Johnson sought the commission’s approval for iron and wooden fencing at the Washington Street residence. The commission approved the wooden fence request, pending the fence be painted white. The commission asked Johnson to submit a picture of the iron fencing being before a decision is made.
