CHURCH HILL — Services for Walter Patterson Sr., 58, of Natchez, who died Saturday, May 1, 2010, in Adams County, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Jefferson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Sunday at the church.

Mr. Patterson was born March 17, 1952, in Jefferson County, the son of Evans and Dorothy Ware Patterson.

He was a member of L.F.C. Society.

Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Mary Ann Donald Patterson; one daughter, LaToya Patterson; one son, Walter Patterson Jr.; one granddaughter, Xylin Patterson, all of Natchez; one brother, Ralph Patterson and his wife, Rose of Natchez; three sisters, Georgia Mae Patterson and Gertrude Norman, both of Natchez and Pearlena Patterson of Fayette; two aunts, Matilda Jackson and her husband, James of Newellton, La. and Julia Ware of Church Hill; five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, five aunts-in-law, four uncles-in-law and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
