NATCHEZ — A Natchez man has been arrested in connection with last week’s vehicle arson at Cedar Hurst Apartments.

William Keith Barnes, 24, 108-A Lewis Drive, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of arson, Natchez Police Lt. Craig Godbold said. Barnes is being held at the Natchez City Jail without bond.

Godbold said Barnes reportedly got into an argument with his child’s mother, and set fire to her 1992 Acura April 2.
