Stampley wins award at state teacher’s conference

JACKSON — Angela Leach Stampley, formerly of Natchez, was named the Oustanding Middle School Science Teacher at the Mississippi Science Teachers’ Conference in Jackson Oct. 25-27.
Stamply has taught at Rowan Middle School for three years and in the Jackson Public School District for 13 years.
She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in elementary eduction from Jackson State University and began her teaching career at Northwest Rankin Attendance Center.
Stampley is married to Roosevelt Stampley. They ahve one daughter, Ronique Stampley.
She is a graduate of North Natchez High School.
