NATCHEZ — Three landmark Natchez properties are among several buildings to be auctioned by owner Bob Dean come mid-November.
Dean, who resides in Baton Rouge, owns the Natchez Eola Hotel and the Natchez Eola Guest House.
According to the Baton Rouge Business Journal, Dean is auctioning off several Baton Rouge properties, as well as “three Natchez properties, including a hotel and a bed and breakfast.”
Efforts to reach Dean were unsuccessful Wednesday and Thursday.
Dean is working with Williams and Williams, an auction firm based in Tulsa, Okla.
Amy Bates of Williams and Williams confirmed Dean is auctioning off properties in Natchez, but could not provide additional information.
Natchez Eola General Manager Ron Brumfield said Wednesday he was not aware the hotel was on the auction block.
