NATCHEZ — Mike and Gayle Henry don’t know exactly what to expect Sunday when their house makes its national television debut, but they’ll be watching.

The episode of the HGTV show “My House is Worth What?” featuring the Henrys’ Natchez house will air at 11 a.m.

The show was filmed at the Henrys’ Lawrence House on South Martin Luther King Jr. Street in November.

Mike Henry said he found out then what his house was actually worth, according to the show’s appraisers, but was sworn to secrecy by HGTV.

The show explores three houses in three different parts of the country in each episode, exploring any renovations or expansions that may have improved the houses value. Ultimately, the homeowners learn the true market value from local market experts.

Local Realtor Sharon Sharp will also be featured in the episode.

The Henrys have done extensive renovations to their 1870s house including new plumbing, air conditioning and wiring and converting the kitchen into a bedroom then moving the kitchen to the sun parlor.

HGTV is channel 52 on the Natchez CableOne listings.
