Vidalia — Lynn Clark was selected as the Concordia Parish paraprofessional of the year. She was recognized by the Concordia Parish School Board at the Oct. 9 meeting.

Clark has worked in Concordia Parish for 26 years. During this time she has worked with many students including those with very significant disabilities.

Clark works at Vidalia Junior High under the direction of Principal Whest Shirley. Shirley said Clark’s dedication to her job sets her apart.

“Ms. Clark represents all that is good in the area of support,” he said. “She is knowledgeable in all subjects and works tirelessly to impart knowledge to her students.

Other staff members stated that Clark has excellent rapport with the students, willingly offers help to all students and readily volunteers to help in any way.
