Police arrest two for robbery

NATCHEZ &8212; Police have arrested two teens in connection with an armed robbery of juveniles that occurred two weeks ago.
Ronnie Vontrell Davis, 19, 11 Reynolds St., and Avery Neyland, 17, 2 Quitman Road, were charged Monday with armed robbery.
Bond will not be set until an arraignment.
The teens are suspected of following two 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old who were skateboarding on Nov. 22. Davis and Neyland allegedly talked to the boys, the appeared again a few streets over where they pulled a gun and took a video camera, two cell phones and $5 in cash. The incident occurred in downtown Natchez.
Police Chief Mike Mullins said Monday that police have recovered the video camera, but have not found the phones or the weapon.
&8220;Investigators were able to develop enough evidence and made an arrest,&8221; Mullins said.
