NATCHEZ &8212; Police are looking for two young men who allegedly robbed three boys at gunpoint Wednesday in downtown Natchez.
The juveniles, two 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old, were skateboarding on Franklin Street when they were approached, Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
The boys said the suspects, who they described as about 19 years old, started talking to them about skateboarding. The conversation ended and the boys rode over to Market Street, Mullins said.
The suspects then allegedly approached the boys again, pulled a gun and took a Sony video camera, two Nokia cell phones and $5 in cash from the boys, Mullins said.
The robbery was reported to police at 9:48 p.m.
One of the suspects is a black male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was wearing a tan jacket with a hood and red Dickey pants, the juveniles told police.
The second suspect was a dark complected black male, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket with the word &8220;Atlanta&8221; written across the front in red letters.
One of the teenagers told police he saw a dark colored hand gun.
Mullins said a substantial reward will be offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
