VIDALIA &8212; A Concordia Parish judge continued the sentencing for two suspects charged in the murder of Richard Allan Cupstid.
Ginger D. Campbell, found guilty in April as an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, was unable to attend the sentencing today due to a family emergency.
A jury found Francis J. Loncar guilty of second-degree murder in April in connection with the 2005 death of Cupstid. Jason Short, who was with Loncar at the time of the incident, was also found guilty of second-degree murder last month and will be sentenced at a later date.
Cupstid was found shot in the head and run over near the intersection of U.S. 84 and Roundtree Road in Vidalia, June 2005. He died a day later in a hospital in Jackson.
Seventh Judicial District Judge Leo Boothe will hold sentencing for Loncar and Campbell at 9 a.m., August 16.
