I think during these hard times that the fools on the planning commision needs to leave the struggling businesses alone.These small businesses dont have the extra cash to put up new signs.Who are the planning commission trying to impress?It cant be the tourist..just in case they havent noticed we dont have many tourist anymore & the way these fools are acting we wont have many businesses left either.I think the Mayor needs to grow some yahoos & put a stop to this witch hunt on struggling businesses.I can understand the city dont need the tax dollars these businesses are paying...but think of the employees that will lose their job because of these fools that think highway 61 is a gateway to ghost town...my my..what have they got us into.

I bet they could get by with alot less employees...way to many employees at city hall.Being the aldermen are highest paid in Ms they should be required to work 40hrs a week at city hall or cutting grass and fixing things around the city.
