Is all the Democrat have to report on is what the supervisors are doing? Must have been a slow couple of weeks as far as news is concerned. What's the "Today's Poll" going to be in tomorrow's paper, Which supervisor has the best hair?

Thank you David for your enlightening letter. This is the second time in a week that the Democrat reported without knowing ALL the facts. I don't know why they always try to make public officials look so bad. And for all you naysayers, no, they do not do it all by themselves. You never see any of the positive things that our public officials are doing, believe me, alot is getting accomplished already this year. I would like to see any of the staff of the Democrat run for office, how many votes would any of you get?

Bob Latham is getting paid by more than the county, why else would he come back. Why do you think he doesn't want Bobby Cox looking over his shoulder?

mike8427, the last time I looked at the Today's Poll about whether or not the supervisors made the right decision about dismissing Latham the results were in favor of the supervisors decision. So most people do not think Latham is an asset to the county. I don't believe Bobby Cox will be able to handle the workload but they will find one that can. Just because you can handle the job does not mean you are the right person for the job. He totally took advantage of the county with the help of two of the current supervisors and one who is no longer on the board.

Why is it that when Eddie Walker fired everbody in is office it didn't make the headlines everyday like this story has. It is common practice that when the make up of the Board of Supervisors or the Circuit Clerk's office or the Sheriff's office changes some people are fired and some get to stay on. Why is this story making such headlines? Just maybe Henry, Spanky and Mike are trying to prevent Bob Latham and other board members' names from being dragged in the mud. In the meantime Henry, Spanky and Mike are being critized for being the better men. Do you think the ND would report anything negative about Mr. Latham even if it was brought to their attention?

Ben, when were the supervisors suppose to meet, this was their first board meeting, sure they stumbled through it a little bit but overall I think they handled everything pretty well for a first meeting. And talking about getting facts straight, did you get all your facts straight? We'll wait and see.

The ND will never endorse Henry, Spanky or Mike but as you know the majority of Adams Couny did, Henry by more than 200 votes and Mike by almost 500 votes, and that speaks volumes. They don't care what the ND prints because I'm sure they know they are doing the right thing. Everyone that is elected cleans house, Eddie Walker fired everybody and Ronnie Brown fired some also and I don't remember it making front page news for 3 stories, this is not uncommon. Bob Latham had to go, what's the big deal. The supervisors will find a competent attorney. Good lord people, this was Henry's first day as president and Mike's first meeting EVER as supervisor. Give them some time and in four years then you can say how they are doing and not on their first day!

This wil only turn into another Binky if the ND stays on it. The ND had it in for Binky, I think we can all agree about that, and I believe that they will stay on Henry and probably Spanky and Mike also. Did the ND endorse Henry and Mike? I don't think so. They don't want to look like fools so they are going to make Henry, Spanky and Mike look like they don't know what they are doing so that it looks like they made the right decisions in their endorsements. Think about. The ND always has an agenda. Why do you think they are staying on this story about the county attorney. This makes 3 front page stories.
