If the machine tinman is talking about disappeared and is never heard of again, would be a sure fire give away that it worked!
That is what happened to the improvements made that gave cars more mileage per gallon. The inventions were bought or seized and you never heard of them again!

I still think a marina there is not the best idea. It will last until the first barges break loose and take out a few high dollar boats and that will be it.
I still think the river has a way of reclaiming what man tries to take and sooner or later that river front will get flooded.
I have to agree it is a busy place and it does look good, for now anyway.
OGD the only problem with the river front elsewhere that you spoke of is that it doesn’t have the history behind it that Sliver Street does. It could be developed but may not have the same drawing effect.
The view is quite nice from the Vidalia side too! :)

Sounds like a good start to promote the region. The only ones that would fight it are those that want to control what goes on here for their own benefit and not that of the entire area!

peaceful_eagle91, from what I understand he couldn't stand up for himself.
He ADMITTED what he did! How can you still feel sorry for him and disbelieve he is guilty when he himself said he was! The DA has him on tape confessing and even giving the details of what he did!
He pleaded out to keep from doing more time than what he is getting! 4 counts equal life. This way he pleads to one count and gets 5 years suspended and probation!
I feel sorry for the child, not the man!

I have it on good authority that the DA is going to plea this down to 2nd degree and life for a guilty plea!
That just sets my teeth on edge! So far I have yet to see this district attorney actually try a case. He seems content to just plead everything out!
