NATCHEZ — Adam Koob has joined the staff of The Natchez Democrat at a staff reporter.

Koob, a native of Marrero, La., has worked as a reporter for the St. Bernard Voice and a freelance reporter for the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

He is a 2006 graduate of the University of New Orleans where he earned his degree in social science.

Koob will cover Adams County government among other things for The Democrat.
