This signed first edition of “William Johnson’s Natchez” was recently donated to the Natchez National Historical Park to be part of the William Johnson House. The book, signed by both editors, chronicles daily life in Natchez over a 16-year period in the mid-1800s. It was donated by Paul Cartwright of Yazoo City. View photo »

A writing desk displayed in the upstairs living quarters of the William Johnson House. Although this desk did not originally belong to the Johnson family, many furnishings found in the restored living quarters were Johnson family possessions. View photo »
A reproduction of the one of William Johnson’s diaries sits on display in the William Johnson House. The 14 leather bound diaries were found in the attic of the Johnson house in 1938. View photo »
