TWENTY YEARS AGO — One week after clinching a berth in the state playoffs, the Co-Lin Wolves, led by head coach Ray Ishee, will be playing for home-field advantage as they take on Pearl River Junior College.
TEN YEARS AGO — One week before defending its Class A-AA title, Trinty’s boys cross country team, led by Brady Hendrix, Jon Borum and Marcus Archer, finishes in eighth place at the Lamar Relays.
FIVE YEARS AGO — Huntington’s girls cross country team, in a rebuilding year, finishes a surprising second to DeSoto in the state title meet with Emily Anders, Marie Miller and Katie Gray all finishing in the top 10.
