Pageant seeking contestants in four different age groups

Vicksburg — The Miss Magnolia State Pageant will be Dec. 6-7 at the Vicksburg City Auditorium in down town Vicksburg. The state pageant is currently accepting application for junior (12 to 14-years-old), teen (15 to 17-years-old), Miss (18 to 28-years-old) and the Mrs. (married and 18-years-old and up) divisions.

Contestant will represent their hometowns or counties. Each contestants will be supplied a banner and local title for competition at the state level. The deadline to enter is Nov. 10.

Contestant will be judged in three categories including evening gown, persona interview and casual wear.

There is no talent or swimsuit competition.

Preliminary competitions are scheduled for Dec. 6 with the finals taking place on Dec. 7.

The winner from each division will receive a $500 cash scholarship and a Carribean cruise.

They will also receive publicity and an appearance contract for appearances throughout the state.
