Little feet pound pavement

Published Saturday, November 1, 2008

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Downtown Development Association and downtown business owners hosted Little Feet Trick or Treat Friday night for area children.

Children and their parents filled downtown streets to gather candy and show off their costumes. Costume favorites included martians, witches and Spiderman.

I want to thank the Natchez Downtown Development Association and the businesses that participated yesterday. The children all had a great time except for a select few who were truly scared by a wondering ghoul. I do not understand why everyone did not participate. But a special thank you to those who did. And an extra special thank you to those who dressed up to pass out candy. You brought an extra smile to the faces of Natchez children.

What cute costumes. I hope there was a good turn out downtown. I didn't have any trick or treaters knocking at my door.

So sorry no one came to your house "time4change". I think that all communities should make it combined effort to get the little ones and their chaperones on and off the street within a reasonable time. It gives families, those giving out the treats, time to celebrate with their children as well, play games and watch halloween movies. Last night was a success in my area as well. Glad everyone was safe, no injuries or foolishness taken place at all.

time4change, you are a liberal democrat. That is why they didn't come to your house. They thought you would take their candy away and give it to crumb-crunchers that didn't go trick-or-treating. LOL
