Co-Lin splits games on day 2 of NJCAA National tourney

NORMAL Ill. — Co-Lin second baseman Kayla Crochet hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Co-Lin Lady Wolves over Johnson County (Kan.) 9-5 in the winners bracket of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II National Softball Championship in Normal, Ill.

The Lady Wolves were then defeated 8-5 by the No. 1 ranked Phoneix College (Ariz.) Lady Bears defeated the Lady Wolves 8-5 in the winners bracket.

The Lady Wolves will play Heartland (IL) at 9 a.m. today.
