NATCHEZ — The annual free concert by the Alcorn State University Concert Choir is set for 6 p.m.,
Sun., Dec. 3, at Trinity Episcopal Church. It is open to the public.
“The concert will showcase works from composers such as Dan Forrest, Bob Chilcott, Eurydice Osterman, Stacey V. Gibbs and Ken Burton,” said Dr. Alona Alexander, director of Choral Activities at Alcorn State.
“Selections will be a mixture of traditional and non-traditional holiday songs to bring in the season,” she said.
Dr. Alexander will direct the concert. Accompanist will be Tony Gordon, assistant professor of music at Alcorn.
