VIDALIA — An informal gathering for memories and celebration of life of Lyman S. Gore, 65, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Vidalia First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Mr. Gore was born Sept. 12, 1946, the son of Travis S. and Nigel Stafford Gore.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Janis Kay Gore; his mother; two sons, Michael L. Gore of Natchez and Jason B. Gore of Vidalia; one sister, Kay Savant of Natchez; and one brother, Brent Gore of Ferriday.

Memorials may be made to any local food pantry in the Miss-Lou.
